The last 1966 GT40, and the last with a Ford Serial # was recovered from a garage in California where it's been stored since the mid 70's.

It is horrible people don't respect cars and keep them destroyed like that. So many people would love to own that car, and yet the owner just takes it for granted.

The article says due to owner health problems he was unable to get the car fixed. The car isn't in such bad shape, it looks pretty good for being stuck in one place since the 70's...
